Meet other local Science Fiction Writers and Fans. Gather to network, exchange ideas, and socialize with people u know u fit in with because they are Fans. Meet people to work on projects with. Share your short stories for critiquing. Watch movies, munch pop corn, pizza and the occasional gourmet snack and fine beer or wine. If you always wanted to read to an audience now is your chance! Fans who don't write will have important tasks! Choosing between submissions. Deciding if a great story can really still be great read aloud. Volunteers will be needed to run aspects of our non-profit business. In essence, we are going to start our own non-profit publishing house - there are wide open opportunities in podcasting-we are going to exploit them to bring the world great sf in styles we like and to bring the world our stories. We will influence the genre like many waves of Californian writers before us. Lofty goals - but I think attainable and fun.
