Introduction
My short fiction has been published in both mainstream and speculative fiction markets. I'm a web communications director by day, a fiction writer by night, a wife and mother 'round the clock, and a procrastinator when I get around to it.
What sort of stories do you write? And if you have anything published, tell us about it (even if it's not SF.) We love to hear about all your successes.

I write fantasy and mainstream fiction. Publications: Tamarack Award runner-up "Aim," forthcoming in Minnesota Monthly (Jan. '07); "Kissing Frogs" and "Fallen Idols" in Fantasy & Science Fiction; "All the Blue-Haired Ladies" in Great River Review.

What brings you to the SF Writers Meetup? Is there anything that you hope the group will do for you?

I'm a terrible procrastinator about writing, and in dire need of external motivating forces. So I'm hoping this group might help keep me on task, as well as providing a social outlet to talk craft with like-minded writers.

Greetings

  •  Hi Jaye: Thanks for the "Shout." I'm looking forward to Tuesday evenings above Lunds. I might be a tad late--is that permissible?--becuase of a job, which I'll hopefully be transitioning out of soon.

    Thanks, and hello to all.

  •  What can I say about Jaye that everyone else hasn't already said. She's a fantastic writer. I love reading her work. She's a marvelous critiquer, I've gotten some really valuable insights from her. And she is one of the pillars of strength in our meetup community.
