Introduction
My name is Doug Van Dyke. I work as an MRI tech but I write in my spare time. So far my only sales have come under self-published books. I hope to meet other local writers and see how I might enlighten my works.
What sort of stories do you write? And if you have anything published, tell us about it (even if it's not SF.) We love to hear about all your successes.

So far I have written along "classic fantasy" lines. My definition of that are worlds that are similar to Lord of the Rings or Dungeons and Dragons. My first two books are on Amazon. Search under "Earthrin Stones", they will both pop up.

What brings you to the SF Writers Meetup? Is there anything that you hope the group will do for you?

I hope the interactions with other fantasy authors may help me with my own work. I can stand a little criticism. Hopefully I may benefit enough to make my books more of a success.

  •  Doug brings wonderful things to the group: self-publishing experience, and a willingness to jump in and get involved. I am so happy that he joined us!
