Our Minicon Meetup, Group Reading, and Publication Party

From: Hilary Moon Murphy
Sent on: Wednesday, March 21 at 4:28 PM
Hey Gang!

Remember when I was telling you that we would have a special group Meetup at Minicon? Well, it's been scheduled (in two parts) for the Saturday evening of Minicon.

Important note: No Minicon Registration is required to attend either part of this Meetup. This means that you can attend the event *without* having to pay the $55.00 at the door rate for the con. If you want to go to anything else in Minicon, you will likely want to register for the convention. It's a great literary con, and Charles De Lint is the guest of honor this year.

When:

Saturday, April 7th, 2007, starting at 7:00pm

Where:

Krushenko's Annex (Poolside Cabana 110)
Sheraton Bloomington Hotel
7800 Normandale Blvd
Bloomington , MN 55435
952-835-7800

Part I: Group Reading and Cookie Break! (7:00-8:00pm)

Come for the cookies. Stay for the readings and hear short (usually funny) readings from stories from members that have recently sold stories. This event will be followed directly by our Annual Publication Party!

RSVP here (and quickly, if you want to be a reader):

Part II: Publication Party (8:00-9:00pm or possibly later)

Come, celebrate with our authors some of the sales of the previous year, and meet a whole bunch of cool people. We have treats! After 9:00pm, the annual Diversicon party will be in the same place, and we can stick around and chat with lots of other cool people from the Minnesota SF scene.

RSVP here so we'll know to expect you:

That's it!

Please RSVP quickly so that we can know you are coming.
